and end up not making the community? I do all the time. I have a lot of fun ideas for communities, but I then begin to doubt ppl will even use them so i just scrap everything.

    i feel like communities should be pressure-induced. if there isnt a set of users/content looking for a home, why would you make it?

    when subreddits were first created, it helped sort the noise inherent in the monolithic model. but the noise of competing content existed… it needed sorting.

      That’s a GREAT point. Wow, makes total sense. I think im done creating communities unless there’s a need for it. Cause its tough keeping them all up by oneself
