Summary

Elon Musk reportedly mocked federal employees he fired by privately reacting to their hardships with “laugh-crying emojis,” according to Rolling Stone.

Sources say Musk finds amusement in stories of lives disrupted by his mass dismissals.

Ben Vizzachero, a fired wildlife biologist, confronted Musk at Trump’s congressional address and asked, “Am I waste?” Musk responded with a line from the 1999 movie Office Space: “What would you say you do here?”

Even Trump officials express frustration, calling Musk “irritating” and difficult to work with.

That’s OK. When some disgruntled worker inevitably goes postal and he learns that having billions of dollars doesn’t make you bulletproof, I’ll also react with laughing emojis.

I feel like in some weird twisted sick way, Elmo is accidentally our savior. All these guys are evil and incompetent, but Elmo is so overtly incompetent that he fucks up most of the evil plans they had. It would have been so much worse of Elmo wasn’t here because then they maybe could have succeeded.

So far it’s bad but just so incompetently bad that you know it won’t last very long. They’re playing with lives but it’s American lives, they’re getting what they wanted

Here’s a reminder that the Allied forces had multiple opportunities to assassinate Hitler, but chose not to do so… Because he was a laughably bad military tactician, who was surrounded by yes-men. He would repeatedly make bad military decisions, and everyone around him was too afraid to tell him it was a bad idea. The Allies were worried that if they assassinated Hitler, a competent military leader would take his place.

Sun Tsu’s Art of War has a line that goes something like “Never interrupt the enemy when they’re making a mistake” and it feels germane. I wouldn’t be surprised if historians are writing about how Europe had several opportunities to assassinate Musk/Trump but chose not to because they didn’t want anyone competent in charge.

I think Musk is a necessary catalyst for any resistance movement. He is so evil, unlikable, unhinged and too powerful; a wet dream for any author who writes dystopian novels.

If he did not exist I would fear that the nascent American protest movement would just evaporate like before. But here, literally one can just point to this bastard instead of arguing politics, and it generates waves of hate.

My mom is a lifetime Republicsn who up until last year was on a pure reactionary right feed on Facebook. She’s basically turned 180° in just the last few months, and while it started with her immediate gut-level dislike for Vance, it was driven home by her imnediate, gut-level dislike for Musk. It’s now expanded out to criticizing (and laughing at) Trump and the rest of the would-be oligarchs, and she’s moved from Facebook to Reddit and is already trying to decide which Democrats she’s going to vote for.

And while it actually started with Vance, it was almost entirely Musk (or as she referred to him for quite a while - “What’s his name - the asshole co-president”) who accomplished the most to drive her away from the party she’d supported her entire life.

And I assume she’s far from alone.

Have you thanked JD Vance even once for nudging your mum onto a slightly more sane trajectory?

It’s tempting - it would be greatvto be able to say something like, “I just want to thank you for being such an insufferable asshole that you were the catalyst that started the process that ended with my mom becoming a Democrat.”

But I assume it would be lost on him. Like both Trump and Musk, I assume he’s determinedly oblivious to the fact that he’s an asshole

She’ll be permanently banned from Reddit for criticizing Musk. Trust me. They’re cleaning house. Because they’re cunts, and Spez is a little bitch.

I wonder what that feels like. I mean it’s good for your mom and everyone around her, but is she looking back thinking that she shoul’ve known better or does she think republicans devolved since this year? I’m still so disgusted to just think about the time Musk was in a super hero movie, portraying him as basically the closest thing to Tony Stark.

Or when he build that shitty submarine to save these children. The tweet that said: Please Mr. Musk, you are the closest thing to Tony Stark that we have, please help these children… That shit still haunts me.

Are you sure she’s just not going to vote for the next Charismatic Republican that strikes her fancy, do you think she really understands. It sounds like she’s just going off a gut feeling, which is helpful but not healthy in the long-term

The richest guy in the world, and he is so horny for any love and respect that the smell of desperation fills any room he is in. You can even see it anytime he makes a media appearance. The guy actually exudes a breath-taking level of anti-charisma. He’s truly revolting to anyone who sees him.

All that money, and he has to rent wombs to manufature his DNA Storage Units/ Organ Donors/ Human Shields because no woman will go near him. Ive heard his dick doesn’t work anyway, due to a botched wiener enlargement surgery.

So he thinks the gamers are his peeps, and they’ll love him, right? Nah, all those great toys, and still none of the neighborhood kids want to play with him, because he’s so fucking wierd.

It fills me with such glorious schadenfreude to see him demonstrating in real time, the old saying “Money can’t buy happiness.”

The oligarchy reacts with laugh-crying emojis to the suffering of the common man.

For the likes of Sieg Heiling Space Karen and their ilk, I’ll continue adding mine to corporate obituary announcements resulting from the consequences of the unspoken class war.

Yep. My immediate thought after reading this headline was of the couple times he looked like he was gonna cry because people were celebrating the downfall of Tesla and the time he was streaming PoE2 and got bullied enough that he pretended to lag out and ragequit.

He’s truly a net negative contribution to the species, and he furthers that status with every breath. Maybe there could be some argument that putting money into stuff pushed companies to adopt new, greener technologies in order to compete, but his pro fascism agenda has completely negated any praises I might have ever sung. And I think he’s too deep to ever reverse course.

We know that he salutes like Hitler. Let’s all hope that he does that other thing like Hitler did that one time in late April of 1945. Epic memes ftw for the edgy memelord mastermind if he does it on the same day. 360 skibidi no scope rizz king shit.

We need to further expose these kinds of happenings.

The greatest weakpoint of fascism is the exposal of its cruelty. They have to hide behind “concerns for the common good”, while in reality, they see them as nothing more than when a school bully convinces their teachers that their targets were the ones “starting it”. Cruelty was the main reason I left the far-right, then “moderate conservatism”. They just gaslight not only others with their lies, but themselves too.

Unfortunately I don’t think it’ll work here. For republicans and most supporters: cruelty is the point. They want to see their enemies lose. They revel in “liberal tears” and lust for the downfall of their adversaries. They’re sick in an emotional way. Elon is on record saying empathy is a weakness.

They’re all sociopaths. They only care about money and power for them, anything that prohibits that is an enemy.
