A couple of days ago I started getting an error message every time I boot my laptop. It says:
EFI stub: WARNING: Failed to measure data for event 1: 0x800000000000000b
Any idea what caused this / what the issue is / how I can resolve it?
Thank you!
I can’t give a proper solution but I have had the same problem for almost a year now and I took this thread’s advice and ignore it.. Has something to do with secure boot but I’m not sure I actually understood the problem that is causing it.
I’ll look into it some more.
Some people report slower boot but that’s not the case for me. Everything seems to work fine, I just get the error message so, I dunno, maybe I’ll just ignore it as well?
Same. That’s why I decided to just ignore it. Tried to look into it a bit but seemed to be an upstream (Ubuntu) issue, though I’m not sure.
It’s Secure Boot related. This might help: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1519290/efi-stub-warning-failed-to-measure-data-for-event-1-0800000000000000b-efi-stu
Thank you! I’ll look into it!
