Like combining Flair-or-tag-Text with some formatting? (I thought I saw that once, maybe it was in an app?)
For flairs a possible workaround could be to encourage Lemmy posters in PieFed-Communities to include info what flair they’d want. Mods then could add them (or add them on a regular base, and communicate that). For tags there’s probably no better workaround than adding #s to the body, so that they can be found via community searchbar.
IIRC Lemmy 1.0 will bring some changes in that regard, so compatibility should increase.
Post flair is not (yet) in lemmy. It is a feature that is supposed to be in lemmy 1.0 and we have tried to make PieFed’s post flair compatible with what lemmy’s flair will eventually look like (it was just a pull request at the time though, so it might need some tweaking as 1.0 gets closer).
There are some lemmy frontends that will convert some text in the title into something that visually looks like post flair. Photon is one that I know does this. So, if your post title is
[] Awesome show debuts, then photon will instead render it as a post with the titleAwesome show debutsand then tack on aPremierepost flair.Thank you very much for your answer! Maybe it was Photon then. Since it’s limited to some frontends and only a lookalike without the same functionality as Piefed’s flairs, I rather not confuse anybody with that.
