When I say harder to read I mean like too contemplative or like it just drags on. Like I love shield hero but the fights have been so grating on me, they’re so long and so wordy I’ve just been skimming fights.
Or in 86 the philosophical points are nice the first time but not the next 100 times, oh but I love the combat scenes, so I skim the other stuff except the cute shin/Lena moments.
Danmachi and grimgar I find far more enjoyable as a whole read. Honestly I’m leaning towards better writing but maybe it’s just not for me
Do any of y’all have any similar issues?
There is no shortage of great stuff out there to read. If I find myself not enjoying large parts of a story I just won’t finish it (unless I’m very close to the end already).
