Rubin, an eccentric, antisocial nerd teams up with Ed, an unsuccessful, multi-level businessman on a quest to bury Rubin’s deceased cat in the “perfect spot.” Their trip takes them across Utah’s desert where they have run-ins with Ed’s ex-wife and with an elusive Andy Warhol critic.

And Dr. Johnny Fever from WKRP. Looks like it might be entertaining.
It’s a funny-funny and memorably different film about two weirdos … one who looks the part. The casting was perfect. Both are grieving for lost relationships. One of the main characters is dead. One is Johnny Fever. Another is Karen Black in her 100&nth movie. Thanks to the Power of Positive Realestate, they wind up in a fancy company vehicle headed for … the Outlands. No spaceship needed to get to Utah.
Owned it on VHS, and then bought the DVD from Trent.
