Does Nunavut count as English speaking?
Large, fairly recent, sparsely populated, large indigenous population, no roads between communities, tons of islands.

Inuktitut is actually the majority language of Nunavut.
Which is why I ask, point #4 from my link above:
"4. We have four official languages.
While English and French remain our official Federal languages, all signage and government correspondence is also shared in the Inuit languages Inuktitut and Inuinnaqtun. Inuktitut is iconic for its use of syllabics instead of the latin alphabet."
Even if you counted it as English speaking, it’s not a province 😜

You’re probably right since the maritimes had a lot of history to establish their own characters.
The b’ys in Newfoundland hated the US last time I was there but that was 15 years ago.
Atlantic Canada does win in terms of public support for permanent boycotts of America at 22.5%
