But I got a new one and installed it but forgot to plug in the 8-pin power connector to the motherboard so I fixed that but then realized my SATA cables were plugged in in the wrong order so the D: drive was my DVD drive instead of my HDD so I fixed that and now it’s working fine
I think what happened is my ancient Zalman cooler got too dusty and then it got too hot and the aluminum brace holding it to the CPU snapped but luckily 28 bucks got me a new cooler and I also got some Arctic Silver because I remember it being good and I am too lazy to look up if it’s still good or not
but now I can look at my Steam library without playing it and shitpost with a mechanical keyboard again
I blow on my cpu to keep it cool
imagine this is canned air
good to have you back. I bet there was a struggle session you missed
honestly posting a lot less since I got into a relationship
I’ve always traipsed through the battle-scorched aftermath of struggle sessions (rock piles kicked over, outside cats everywhere)
forgot to plug in the 8-pin power connector to the motherboard
truly I’ve lost count of how many times I or someone I know have done this.
under communism there will be a single connector with 32 pins to prevent such capitalist trickery
CPU cooled computers are bougie capitalist toys. Real communists communicate via tin can/string and abacus.
abacuses are decadent bourgeois excess, your village was issued a pencil as well as a toothbrush
missed you comrade
