It’ll take a few years, because of the existing base of vaccinated people, but this will kill a lot of kids. The norm used to be that half of kids died before adulthood

Go right the fuck ahead lol Florida exists to demonstrate man’s hubris and ignorance apparently. No plans to visit that trash heap and I always question what brings vacation goers there vs any other place… ultimately I think “conservatives” just like to shit where they eat and take pride in trashy situations

As someone who grew up there I do assert that there is beauty and fun to be had there. There are still some beaches that have not been swallowed by society’s expansion. And there are cities that still have some charm. Saint Petersburg has a growing art scene and tons of live music and the beaches that the locals use are uncrowded and clean. Orlando and Jacksonville both have great local music. There is nature to enjoy as well. Rainbow River and Weeki Wachee are still beautiful.

      Florida’s politics is trash though.

…this will kill a lot of kids.

It will kill adults, too. Those with a weakened immune system, the elderly, etc. The kids may be healthier and better able to survive something, but they can still bring it home and spread it to others who are more susceptible.

So disease factories, also known as schools, will now be thermonuclear hot beds of disease. Cool.
