Really disappointing with the path google has chosen with android. I really don’t get it. All they have to do is git commit, git push. I really hope android doesn’t become iOS
It’s such a dumb strategy too. Why bother with Android if it ends up being the same product?
Exactly. At least iOS was always like this and it kinda gets more open. If android goes the other way…
It’s time for alternatives to step it up.
But THAT’S the thing. Android is great, I love android, why does it have to get ruined? I don’t want it to die
Only community open source efforts give you a fair chance of that.
