    Cool.

How do they verify that you’re purposefully avoiding purchasing Israeli goods?

After that, how do they determine if it was a boycott, versus just not interested?

If they do determine that it is boycotting behavior, how do they determine that it was politically motivated?

Well this makes it way easier:

“I sell baby food to Palestinians and Israel is literally killing customers”

seems like a perfectly reasonable protest under these rules

(Yes, they’re soulless husks motivated only by an all consuming and completely unquenchable hunger)

    What does that even mean

Like, seriously, how is that even gonna be enforced? How do you ban a boycott? Genuinely curious. I’m fascinated to hear how they propose to detect and enforce and legally defend prosecution of people under that law, because it’s prima facie complete nonsense.

It works because they could prosecute anyone organizing, or encouraging the boycott. A boycott isn’t just “not buying stuff”. For real effect, you need a public campaign. This is obviously 100% an issue of free speech.
