This part is naive. A drone/plane just bombed a boat that looked suspicious. Technology to surrender to planes/drones has not yet been developed.

BUT…

The drone/plane was able to find heading/position of this boat, and that information would have helped a coast guard/navy ship able to go and investigate its activities.

Murder/war crimes were cheaper, but to the point, more distracting from other 30 scandals.

    It won’t matter to magats: these were brown people who are by definition rapists, murderers and criminals anyway. They are also famous for eating the pets of the people that live there.

      I’m not even sure the plane/drone could make out skin colour of occupants. Murder happened in Caribean sea which is out of Gulf of Mexico, south of Cuba. No way to be sure its headed to US. Bombing a random boat near Florida, would make much more sense, and if justifying this attack, then surely that would get justified.

      What almost certainly happened here, “this boat likely came from Venezuela, since it is close to there. Kill them all.” The theoretical boat near Florida would not be able, as you point out, “maybe this is occupied by latin drug smugglers” conjecture.

      US supposedly has many navy ships in the area, and so had the opportunity to not murder random boat dwellers.
