- A bug in the most recent Windows 11 update removes Copilot from systems entirely.
- Microsoft is currently working on a fix but those who need the app can simply redownload and install it from the Windows Store.
- The update also introduced a bug for Roblox players on Arm hardware.
Too late. I already jumped ship because of Copilot’s “Recall”, and I’m not interested in going through a round of partitioning the hard drive and installing a new OS so soon.
I am cool with simply having a cpu without the “AI” cores
I’d prefer AI cores, just like I prefer HW based AES instructions: present and up to my discretion as to how I choose to use them, or not.
If it’s a choice between AI-accelerated cores and nothing, sure, but that silicon space could have been used for AVX-512 or a bigger cache instead.
