I fucking hate how smug they are. I grew up in America but now live in Ireland with my girlfriend. The amount of smug social democratic liberals drives me insane. They actually think they’re ontologically better than the average American because they have more safety nets that haven’t been 100% wiped out yet and because they do not have their shitty off-brand Trump in power yet.

It actually makes me hate liberals more than the Nazis in power, at least the Nazis are somehow less annoying and more open and less smug. Like they both want me dead one is more open about it and not smug.
These fucking liberals cannot handle that living in the west, they are living in US colonies, their social democracy is a relic of a cold war era where the US allowed their universal healthcare to combat any pressure from communism and the USSR. And now that there is no USSR its all going away! It doesn’t matter how much the French protest they’re losing their safety nets. Britain will lose the NHS when reform get into power.
THE THING THAT really fucking gets me is when they act like they’re better because they currently do not have their own shitty offbrand Trump in power. Like They are all at most 5 years away from having their own little Trump elected or installed but until then I have to hear about how LIBERAL AND PROGRESSIVE their supposed imperialist racist ass countries are. Canadian libs are the fucking worst. They’re identical to american libs in every way except they have an even worse holier-than-thou attitude just because they were born north of the border. If you dare criticize the canadian government/system in any way they’ll inevitably fall back on “hey, we might have our issues but at least we aren’t america!” as if that’s something to be proud of. Being “better” than america (and canada isn’t) is such a fucking low bar to begin with its pathetic that’s all it takes to be satisfied in their minds.
Not that they actually care about the distinction when it comes down to it. They’ll be waving an american flag with a maple leaf on it to show their support for the brave american troops if/when they drop the charade and formally annex canada.
