    Yeah, you go all the way to the left and suddenly you’re on the right in various attitudes. The fringe is always cringe. And I’m not being “centrist”… I consider myself left liberal but I try to NOT be a hateful condescending asshole to those who don’t fit stringent standards…. I invite all of you to look beyond boilerplate platitudes when addressing something and to consider that understanding others is better than simply doubling down on what your little clique says. I patiently await Hexbear’s sputtering angry reply…

      I agree. I used to think horseshoe theory was some made up bullshit but in the last few years I have seen communists prove its existence in regards to the current wars in Palestine and Ukraine. In all honesty they have pushed me away from their causes when previously I was sympathetic and thought they had the right ideas. The specific brand of communist that frequents hexbear and other online spaces also alienated me with how bloodthirsty and unhinged they proudly are.

          Letd not foeget criminalisation of homosexuality under Stalin as one of the reasons being gay is still viewed as a bad thing in ex-eastern block countries ( religion is a part of it , but laws date back to him and his obsessions)
