“I just can’t choose wether our logo should be a swastika or the SS insignia”
why not both
This is the other side of the story that western mass media are actively ignoring. Open nazism is extremely common in today’s Ukraine. People say things like “death to all Russians” or “we should drown their children” a lot and some of them do actually do that sort of horrible things like sending drones to civilian buildings. They also use the old Nazi slogan from World War II “Glory to Ukraine - Glory to the heros”. So it’s not just that Russia is bad and Ukraine is good. This war is a deep and very destructive conflict both sides are responsible for.
Oh and btw Ukraine oppresses their own non-ukrainian ethnic groups. Just like Russian nationalists deny Ukrainian identity and language, Ukrainian nationalists don’t recognize the existence of Rusyns and Rusyn language. What’s funny is they use the exact same arguments as Russian propaganda
i tried to dig into this - not that i´m denying it but i want the source of this picture.
zelensky posted a video of this meeting on his instagram but he obviously used different angles lmao.
so… where´s the source?
Here’s Chinese media covering it https://military.china.com/news/13004177/20251106/48966561_all.html#page_2
谢谢 :)
What does this picture mean? The symbol/logo? Don’t really get what to deny or accept there.
the symbol they are waving is the waffen ss insignia, the people who guarded nazi concentration camps and managed to be even worse than the wehrmacht to say it mildly. in nato countries it is considered highly controversial to claim the ukrainian military is a bunch of banderite fascists.
Is that the president? Where is this?
Yup, that’s the head of the regime doing a photo op with Syrskyi near Pokrovsk. For some reason BBC decided to use a photo from different angle in their reporting. 🤣 https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c0mxk9yw3n4o
