Sometimes, I can’t find a login for something I’m pretty sure I recently saved into Proton Pass. It’s possible that I also just didn’t save the save button, but this has happened so many times to me on Proton Pass, but never when I was using Bitwarden.

So I’m wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience.

This happened to me several time in my early days with Bitwarden browser addon. I would create an entry and copy paste the password to the site before clicking save. The addon would loose the context when loosing focus and the entry was gone. I had to do several password reset after creating new entries because of this. I think they fixed this or I just got used to the flow.

Well around a week or two ago I had some weird behavior where I’m not sure if my passwords were saved or not.

    But I can’t know for sure…

I have not noticed this behavior, but sometime I make an email alias thinking I made a password.

Sometimes there’s a seconds-to-minutes delay between when the browser plugin saves and when it shows up in the standalone app.

I’m using the browser web page version, not extension. And it’s not a case of waiting, it would be days or weeks after creating it that I would notice it’s gone.

The filter indication is kinda confusing, it’s sticky. So check that you’re not filtering accidentally by anything
