Volare began with a script for infinite movement‚ letting players loop endlessly in any direction․ Then came velocity limits and of course‚ open flight․ Clouds and fog helped to make the world feel seamless․ Over time it became something bigger with dynamic time progression‚ shifting weather‚ hidden discoveries‚ collectibles‚ and dozens of islands to explore․
It works on PCVR and Standalone/Android VR.
However you spend your time here‚ whether it’s just chatting and relaxing or taking flight‚ I hope you enjoy your stayǃ And if you’re a completionist, don’t worry, progress is persistent, so you don’t have to do everything in one go.
Oh hey, I got accidentally sucked into playing this last night! I was just world hopping around and suddenly I found myself multiple hours in flying around and scouring for purple orbs. You did a really excellent job with both the world aesthetics and the systems, the world is really pretty to look at and feels really satisfying to fly around and explore. Though that last sky orb was absolutely devious and had me almost pulling me hair out trying to find it. Definitely an excellent world that I’ll be recommending to my friends to check out.
glad ya had a good time! (and I’m sure I know the orb you’re talking about)
Looks really neat!
Is there a video player with global audio in the world? (If not, can there be?)
yes, and it plays synthwave boy by default. If it’s unlocked, anyone can put on other videos.
