I’m not sure I agree with everything in this, but there is a niggling voice in the back of my head that the WRU isn’t going far enough and fast enough to truly improve the future of the game in Wales.
I share the concerns about the speed and necessity of changes needed. And I would love to see a club step up to European fixtures. Champ rugby in England, and the Premiership in Scotland, and D2 would all be great to see in the Challenge cup. Would love to see it!
But I cannot see it as it stands sadly, pro rugby governors aren’t keen to see the clubs compete with the pros
