i have no idea what this would cause or fix but i think time zones are dumb and there should be only one time on earth
No we should use UTC+8, extending Beijing time from all of China to all of Earth. This way, switching to one time zone will affect the fewest people.
Alternatively, just extend China to all of Earth for the same effect.

Timezones only exist to confuse people. I don’t care if the sun rises at 6am or at 2pm, my life is gonna be the same.
I generally agreed with this take, until I realized that this would imply changing the calendar day in the middle of the working day for some countries. If we can socially overcome this challenge, then I’m fully in

Just make all clocks that are connected to internet run 0.1% faster / slower until you are at UTC+12 and in about one and a half years everyone should be caught up. People will only have to change their mechanical watches by 1.4 minutes every day, so it should hardly be noticeable
Not my point though, I just think that it’s not convenient that you’ll be in your office at 00:00UTC and suddenly the date of all your documents has to be different from the one it was a minute ago

In the French revolutionary calander the months all had 30 days. That is good.
Running off a universal time is also good. However I object to GMT. we need a cooler place to base it off of. My vote is point nemo.

I love the idea but the workings is bitsy confusing. Everyone uses the same timezone and we have the same view. Having to see the same view will bring the world closer. Is this the final plan of George soros globalism

We should eliminate all time zones and switch to a calendar where every month has the same number of days with the leftover day being New Year’s.
No, we should keep all timezones as they are, but simply pack everyone on earth within the UTC 0 timezone for streamlined use.
How about that one time zone in Australia that was established just so people traveling between Adelaide and Perth (back when it took like almost a week) could adjust to the difference in when the sun rose/set
