The poor don’t need to steal now. They still do. You do realize that not every theft is out of necessity, right?! How old are you where you think there is some utopia that people won’t steal if they have enough stuff?! LMAO

I have actually. Shortly after, I spent 3 years working for the homeless shelter in my community. Then I volunteered with an org that reaches out to home-free individuals. Now I work with a local chapter of the Red Cross that reaches out to underserved individuals in my city.

By your remarks though, I can tell you’ve never been homeless. lol

I had to steal to eat when I was homeless. Those orga didn’t find me and I didn’t have the resourced to be aware of them. Your homeless radar is extremely off if you can “tell” I haven’t been. Maybe you just got lucky when you were homeless, but the people I had to struggle with all had to at least steal once to get the only meal they’d have for a few days

I never implied that, I simply said some need to, you took it to the extreme that all of them have to. I’m okay with 1.6% of all SNAP being fraud, we can deal with that after we deal with the reason why millions of people are on it in the first place.
