Microsoft has confirmed that Windows 11 Shell and every associated core feature and element are actually broken, and have been like this for many months.

    XAML is such a terrible format too. Insane that they managed to break something that’s a core component of their entire OS interface.

    Windows just behaving like GTK now, but without the ability for users to just switch

        They do a lot of breaking charges between versions right? XAML is meant to be pretty rock solid since it’s targeted at “enterprise” software development where they make the program layout once then never touch it again.

        The fact that this hit their core utilities is insane though. Those should have been thoroughly tested before release.
