I just was going to give $50 for defense of Ukraine after an especially stupid interaction with a pro-Russian person on Lemmy, but the site’s not working. I do “Donate Now,” enter my info, but it just says “Something Went Wrong” and an error number. “Contact Us” doesn’t seem to work either.
Anyone else have this? I can do a bank transfer instead I guess, but this seems like a problem if their link is not working. I tried Chrome and Firefox both.
Edit: It was some kind of fraud detection from my bank, I think. I tried a credit card and it worked.
I’m unable to donate. Did this awhile back though and had to go into my credit card account and override some suspicious transaction flag
Oh, sweet - yeah, that makes sense. I tried my debit card and cash app both and it failed on both. I just tried it from a credit card and it worked.
They now have $50 more to defend with.
Same. Had to call my CC company and tell them to stop blocking payments to this ‘vendor’. Haven’t personally had issues after that call.
