“You didn’t tell me what you wanted me to do.”
“Oh my god your sister will be over soon we need to clean out the kitchen! Start making mashed potatoes, put this pictures I’ve had on the floor for a month up!”
“Weren’t you off the two days before thanksgiving?”
They want the expectation but they don’t actually know what they WANT. My family is very much the same. Fortunately in my case they live almost 3000 miles away…I don’t envy your position.
