    The (former) CEO was busted trashing their own product. When a Whistleblower published the content, they were fired. When the media got hold of the content, the CEO was fires and the whistleblower was re-employed.

    One of the comments by the CEO was that their product was for “poor people”.

    if the corporate hellscape just left the poor slobs with a bit more time they could make much better soup for less money themselves

    I’m no longer able to recognize and separate The Onion fiction from reality. Guess it’s my cue to move to a no internet, no society cabin in the middle of the woods.

      I’m all about the Salt and Loneliness and even I would avoid Tinned Soup (except in a post-apocalyptic scenario and then I would allow the children to eat first).
