    Holy damn that’s a long read. One thing I learned trough a colleague though: you can get such procedures without a referral. It won’t be covered under insurance though.

      I mean yeah, it’s an investigative journalist piece that took several years of interviews and work. I feel like shorter pieces that fail to address the nuance of a topic is a big part of why we’re in this mess with trans healthcare in the first place.
