My mom would watch reality TV all day, taught us pretty early on to nuke hot pockets and make Mac n Cheese for ourselves cuz she couldn’t be bothered to cook.

Then our dad who worked full time with an hour each way commute would get home and she’d yell at him for being a lazy husband. This lead unsurprisingly to him resenting my mom and us cuz he felt trapped in this family.

So yeah don’t really want to put another human through that.
