I’ve been hitch-hiking a lot recently and it amazes me how bad the drivers from the US actually are. I thought that literally being raised in a car would give them some road sense, but apparently not. Especially on narrow and dirt roads I consistently see them zone out, slow to a complete crawl and lose all bearing in where the actual road is.

So anyway, in situations like this I wouldn’t be surprised if the car was absolutely fine and the driver simply fucked up in the stupidest way imaginable.
