It’s not gritty and realistic, and there’s unrealistic things like blankets that are too clean and good condition, clean hair etc. This is a big bear of mine in historical stuff so might be me.
Cinematography borders on soap opera quality sometimes. Plot is weak, actor playing Robin doesn’t grab me and there’s some clunking dialogue. So far it’s “easy, have on in the background” TV.
Is everything clean? The Middle Ages weren’t all gritty and dirty. People liked to be clean and well groomed back then, too. Usually, Hollywood leans on the dirty, gritty trope too heavily. But, if people living in Sherwood have the whitest whites, that’d be unrealistic.
Haven’t yet but thats disappointing to hear, what didn’t you like about it?
