Isn’t it a bad sign that the young-guy-candidate is only ahead of the boomer candidate by 4% the day before the election, since the early voting would presumably benefit Zohran Mamdani more than it would Governor R-word?

Quite a lot of childcare places have May 1st as a holiday, which means that it’s more like an unofficial holiday, especially among white collar workers who just “work from home” (like I did at my previous job) while they spend time with their kids, whom they can’t drop off anywhere, because most places are closed.
Did I ever mention that I fucking love how childcare in Denmark is structured?
Calling a born and bred WASP fuck like Harry Truman a pansy ass jew has got to be the funniest way to get fired in the 1950s.
The Baltics managed to achieve a high GDP per capita in a less direct way than the Gulf slaver states. If you just don’t count poor people, then your GDP per capita is going to enormous. In case of the Baltics, those too poor to benefit the stats just happened to leave the millisecond they had the chance to.
Didn’t MacArthur basically get fired by Truman for being too annoying about using nukes? O
When our SocDem-junta decided to cancel a 400 year old holiday, our incredibly cucked unions are began talking like Rosa Luxemberg for like 3 days. It was one of the strangest things I’ve ever seen, even if they ultimately backed down because the SocDems promised to let them be more racist against poles and romanians.
Ukrainian nazis ending up in Iran would probably be the second best place for them to be, since I imagine that they would be getting smoked by just about anyone who can pick up a riffle. Obviously the best place for those nazis is as fertilizer for a field somewhere in Ukraine.
Remember that Americans are car-brained as hell. Gas prices rising due to scarcity will lead to massive price increases in peoples cost of living, which might genuinely lead to popular revolt. Like, Americans are already getting squeezed from all sides, so any increase in un-avoidable expenses is going to have repercussions.
Blaming Germany for starting the war is supposed to be tongue-in-cheek, mostly since you can’t really blame Austria-Hungary in the modern day, since the country ceased to exist after the war. And for the record, I completely agree with your last point about Germany being blamed moreso after WWII than WWI.
until they start doing cool zone things, then I don’t really care about the personal opinions of people who have dedicated their lives to furthering the Empire and strangling any hope for a better future.
I guess plantation owners are the same the world over huh
LMAO at spanish losers complaining about the moroccans in spain. Spain’s entire fucking agricultural production is so reliant on moroccans specifically that it impacted food prices in most of Europe when the moroccans were unable to work in spain during covid
Spain has a couple of pensioner enclaves that are basically just retirement homes for the worst people in the richer part of Europe. Like, Danish pensioners have lived in the southern part of Spain for close to 45 years at this point, if not closer to 60, and they just flatly refuse to learn spanish or even english, so they just get drunk and sunburned and abuse the locals.
It’s pretty much his dreamjob, so I imagine that he’s pretty stoked to be in “the holy land” while they’re murdering brown people. IIRC since Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital, I think the embassy is also located there, so Huckabee gets to live in Jerusalem as well.
Hence why Von der Leyen should be trying to get Russia to join the EU instead. it’s the only surefire way to destroy their productive capacity.
Which he stole from Thatcher, who came up with “Make Britain Great Again” because the pun actually works on Britain / Great Britain
Sorry if my post was unclear, but yes. Mexico and Chile are both extremly catholic countries, while my part of Scandinavia is extremely protestant and we famously work 37 hours every week and not a second more.
IIRC Mexico and Chile has the highest average workhours per year in the OECD. I remember once arguing with a guy at work about “protestant work-ethic” being a myth and showed him the graph. He’s quite the neoliberal, so he puts a lot of stock in graphs compiled by NGOs, so after a while I finally shut him up.
The israeli army, much like basically any western army at this point, crumble the second they start fighting someone who can shoot back and isn’t on the litteral brink of starvation.
Came across a tweet of a guy saying that he talked to a guy in Israel who was really enjoying the current state of things. His argument was that he would take his family out to eat every night/evening, and when an iranian strike was imminent, and the sirens would go off, he could legally run from the table without paying the bill.
Don’t care if this story is true or not, it made me chuckle.
