Honestly still pretty bad (older map) Especially considering this is just high speed lines.

But Europe actually has a slightly larger land area than the united states? aproximately 3.9 million square miles as opposed to aproximately 3.5 million square miles.
This is my worry for how the world ends, eventually the rich people automate everything and fictionalize the entire economy to the same extent as the stock market, no one can buy anything but line must go up so production numbers must increase and we just end up with piles of random products all over the place (guarded by drones of course, can’t have the poors actually using them) like a corporate driven version of the paperclip maximizer only even more bleak.
I would guess because it has awkward rules interactions so its another layer of crap to deal with.
Wasn’t there that incident of rich people paying to gun people down with sniper rifles in some war a few decades ago thats now being claimed to being repeated in palestine?
They do in the show once (Team Rocket) in a throwaway scene that implies pokeballs are fairly uncomfortable and also that humans are too powerful to be contained within ordinary pokeballs.
Doesn’t the figurative use of literally date back to shakespear? afaik its acceptable so long as its actually attatched to an appropriate metaphor.
He’s definetaly got some kind of memory issue, I watched a live speech where he randomly skipped back to an earlier point in the speech mid-sentence without seeming to notice, twice. Creepy part was the reporters continuing to ask question like nothing weird was going on.
Yeh these numbers seem crazy high, I know precisely one homeowner and that was literally by inheritance from a random uncle they’d never heard of before.
I suppose similar in the sense that the housing bubble involved a bunch of rich idiots speculating on bad debt that had been vaguely washed to make it look good and now we have a bunch of rich idiots speculating on AI based on vague promises that it’ll be good.
That’s the great thing about the latest update, you can genuinely stay in your corner and be peaceful and when that criminal syndicate on the other side of the galaxy wrongs you, you can just infiltrate the governments of the empires with the strongest militaries to goad them into a proxy war against that criminal syndicate.
Though as someone chronically bad at being evil in stellaris I usually end up just using it to make everyone focuse the crisis aspirants before they can snowball.
I think part of the issue is that people on the left also tend to see nuances, which means more things to disagree over. Left falls out, right falls in line and all.
The problem with that is market value is decided by some arcane process that sane people can’t comprehend, by which I mean it goes up not if the company grows or makes new/better things but if people with a vested interest believe they can sell it later for a return, similary a materially successful business can go down in flames because a hedgefund decided to bet against it and then make it pay for its own buyout forcing a bankruptcy.
Same thing unfortunately. No honor in a real fight.
Clover is honestly fine, its short so even if it spreads into your flowerbeds its not going to do any damage, in fact since its a nitrogen fixer it might even help, and insects like clover a lot more than grass
As a passable quality 3D artist who does it for a living I’ve found AI art (which can do 3D now to some degree) has kind of narrowed the scope for me. If you want generic Unreal style pseudo-realism or disney toon then AI can do that for you* I’ve had to focus much more on creating a unique style and also optimizing my work in ways that AI just doesn’t have the ability to do because they require longer chains of actual reasoning.
For AI in general I think this pattern holds, it can quickly create something generic and increasingly do it without extranious fingers but no matter how much you tweak a prompt its damn near impossible to get a specific idea into image form. Its like a hero shooter with skins VS actually creating your own character.
*Right now AI models use more tris to re-create the default blender cube than my entire lifetime portfolio but I’m assuming that can be resolved since we already have partially automated re-topology tools.
The one thing that bugs me about cyberpunk 2077 is the main story has an unskippable (straight) sex scene, I know they’re almost a meme in gaming culture but I’m not here for that kind of content.
Guess I can go Fighter (with my usual GM at least), or Wizard.
Using historical territories as a basis for modern claims? British and Mongolian empires loom omanously.
While it can be malicious I do wonder if in some cases its outright ignorance (albeit caused by a total lack of any real empathy), If you get everything handed to you then you percieve yourself as having ‘earned’ it with almost zero effort therefore life must be easy right? And if you’re doing so great with how little effort you had to put in then anyone doing worse than you must just be incredibly lazy right?
