Not exactly a “need” aside from that you need some method of cleaning your floors, robot vacuum is a huge boon to QoL. It does like 90% as well as vacuuming as I do but it does it every day, sometimes I’ll have it go twice a day, vs me doing twice a week at best.

Obviously not everything needs to be open 24/7, but there are a few things that should, like fucking Walmart. All of my local Walmarts started closing at 10 or 11 when Covid hit and it was a pain in the ass.

I had classes in the day and worked evenings, I usually didn’t get off until like midnight. Often the only time my partner and I were both free to go grocery shopping was late at night.

Also sometimes small emergencies happen and you need a thing to fix it. It’s such a big quality of life improvement to me to have a store that has a wide variety of things open 24/7.
