Now that public roads are tolled the next natural escalation seems to be fining ebikes…

I know him irl. Not personally, not well, but I’ve interacted with him several times. He is cheap despite being well off. He is not nice unless he thinks you could do something for him. He looks down on people he perceives as beneath him. He has a mean streak. Him making a show of being a good guy but doing nothing in actuality makes sense.

So I have a small business where we print our down designs. We almost got one of these, but canceled. I can’t justify the price for what I can use it for. We were going to get it to print onto containers but printing onto vinyl and using a cutting machine would be cheaper than the UV ink and wouldn’t make a noticeable difference for our use. Also printing on to things one at a time is just going to be so slow. I hand paint onto the 3D prints using acrylics and then use a thin layer of UV resin to all an enamel like finish. Its pretty quick to line up a bunch of prints and hand stroke the colors on one at a time with a brush. Its also cheaper because that ink is still a whopping $300 a refill i think. For personal use, it might be warranted. It seems so cool and I really want one, but even with it being so affordable for what it is, I can’t justify the price.

My college did this. It might have been due to bedbugs. They swapped the cozy built in furniture with this weird vinyl stuff. Bugs can’t get into the seams.

Lol, his first two years in office was just him literally sprinting from photo op to photo op. You could not turn on the TV without him giving some weird misguided speech about something he knew nothing about.

It’s one of those things. When you can’t find a better way to express your frustration as an educated person than resorting to dropping f-bombs, it is indicative of a low vocabulary.

Anyone else with a basic high-school education thrust into the spotlight would find a way to express themselves and their thought in a clear and cohesive way.

But they are obviously the ones who don’t know what the fuck they’re doing.

I have a friend who came over from Moscow and is an immigrant to the U.S. herself. A few years ago she started telling me she has Irish heritage and she knows it because she felt it in her bones and can see it in her dreams. Now she goes twice a year to ‘reconnect with her roots.’ She was so confident that she did a 23andme and it showed that she was 99% of her heritage with a 1% broadly european. That 1% is what she is now claiming is her Irish portion.
