30 minutes agoI wouldn’t worry too much about downvoting. People see something they don’t understand or don’t agree with and that’s the easiest way for them to express that they don’t agree. Political stuff in particular really wears on people so the reaction is often negative even if the content isn’t particularly edgy or offensive. You’re good mate. 💚
FWIW there are instances with downvoting disabled if that continues to bother you. crazypeople.online is setup that way but registrations are closed at the moment as part of the preparations for an upcoming move. There are others out there but I don’t know them off the top of my head, sorry!
