Yeah, that’s just what Netflix does. They cancel shows. I’m skeptical that the cancelation decision was made because of gaiman’s allegations. If it was I don’t see how continuing production on season 2 after the fact makes any sense.

Doesn’t season 2 of the sandman come out in a couple weeks? Doesnt really seem like he’s being boycotted.

It’s not like Microsoft just started being terrible. They’ve been terrible for a real long time. Way before AI was a thing. This is just a symptom of Microsoft’s awfulness not a reason for it.

And the Smithsonian is saying the loan agreement with the owner of the books, Rev. Brown, expires in May. So they’re returning them to him to rotate in new exhibits per regular operating procedure. If that’s true I don’t really understand the issue here. Rev. Brown seems to be under the impression that they’re removing the items because of Trump’s order. But he, at least in this article, doesn’t even address the Smithsonian’s explanation so I don’t really know what’s going on here. But it really doesn’t seem like this is because of Trump’s policy. If it was why would they just be removing these two books and nothing else?

I feel like I remember there being a lawsuit for unpaid royalties or something.
Edit: Yup!
Edit 2: I’m an idiot who didn’t fully read what I posted.

This might help. If they could read.
Then Elon is going to tweet out some nonsense misrepresenting the report just like he did with their report they put out last September showing mishandled government spending to the tune of 2.3 trillion dollars between 2003 and 2023. (He first lied and said doge found the mishandled payments when they didn’t. And also said the full 2.3 trillion were Medicaid payments to individuals outside the US. Which was just a blatant fabrication)

That checks out.
If people these days don’t know what rollercoaster tycoon is I’m going to start feeling way more old than I already do.
I assume they’re referring to actual hardware. I’d imagine the percentage of gamers playing emulated games is much higher than 14%.
Edit: Found the article
It appears I am correct.

So if I have he/him in my email signature I get fired. But if i have hugely racist and problematic tweets that are less than a year old while having almost no experience or credentials whatsoever other than being a little buddy buddy with Musk I get to push out dangerous untested code to the most important payment system in the country so musk can block social security benefits for Grandma like he blocks tweets talking about how terrible a father he is. Got it.
I mean, I don’t know how to code but I imagine it’s the same as with other subjects. like not being able to use a calculator during some math tests. The point of the examination is for you to demonstrate you know and understand the concepts. It’s not for you to be tested in the same way you would be in the real world.
Heavily depends on where you live. I live near a big city on the east coast in a largely Blue state. I have 1 gig FiOS internet (up and down). In my area Comcast and Verizon compete for customers so our speeds here are alright. But there are plenty of areas in the US that have absolutely abysmal internet. Either because the area is rural so not much infrastructure has been built up or because the ISP in that area holds a monopoly on the market and doesn’t have to increase speeds to keep their customers. I’ve heard horror stories of people being stuck with like sub 10mbps because there are just no other options.
