Fellow European, seconding this. I can roughly point out Georgia and New York instead of Kentucky and Michigan is easy because of the coast line. I’ve been to the east coast, I couldn’t point out the state I was in to save my live.

All these straight borders are confusing AF anyway.

I’m not very IT savy so I’m not sure if I have anything to contribute. In general there’s various trackers on the market. Some use GPS, some use Bluetooth and some use radio. All of them have respective proprietary apps. Maybe looking into these apps could give some insight?

The Nut tracker (GPS) is only 15 € and I can at least open the app on my degoogled phone.

App installed. Entered registering data and now it keeps crashing. A common experience with a degoogled device. :( sounded nice too

Personally I’d already be happy to not need to explain to every social worker, care giver and doctor that it’s not psychological.
