Manual pumps are refined, reliable, light, and cheap. This is the equivalent of circling the gym parking lot looking for a close spot so you don’t have to walk before your workout.

It’s pretty harsh. I’m thinking maybe the Nomad ADV Tower but it’s a lot of cash. https://www.nomad-adv.com/store/p1137/FE2-24NomadNavigationTower.html
Renorc@lemmy.worldOPto Motorcycles@lemmy.world•Also had a great day in the mountains, and on the coast2·1 month agoI absolutely love it. I just bought mine last Wednesday and am coming from an 890 adventure. I was worried it would feel too close to my 350 xcf-w but it is much more stable at speed on pavement. Off road I feel more at ease than on the 890 in almost all conditions. The power of the 701 is fantastic once you get the revs up. The simplicity of the bike is refreshing when maintaining it. It’s a really well refined platform that makes maintenance easy. The only drawback is lack of a fairing. Wind pressure and noise over 75 mph is intolerable for any length of time over a few minutes. Almost all my rides have some components on highway at 80+. I got the bike over 100 once and thought my neck might break off. I’ll definitely be adding a tower from either Rade garage or NomadADV. But in general I am super excited to ride it. My only regret is that I waited so long to buy one.
Yea, it’s a funny meme, but the performance shown does not match the actual stocks.
