Running Gemma or Hermes through ollama mostly. I don’t really use llms much but I’d much rather self host one when I do need it. I tried deepseek locally but even though it was super fast it the “reasoning” bs was enough to make me get rid of it.
I used to burn through books, one Christmas my mum complained that she could’ve got a refund on a book I got if I hadn’t folded a page to keep track of where I was because I finished it by the time we were having dinner. Then school told me I was only allowed to read books from a certain reading level they’d given me for English class, and I had to complete an evaluation test to make sure I’d understood it before I could move up to the next level. I can barely get through 3 pages at a time now because that school program killing my love of reading.

Afaik there’s only 1 motorway in the UK with a roundabout and it’s at the end where it becomes a normal road again. Usually if there is a roundabout on a dual carriageway it’s because it’s connecting to a single carriage way that could be anything from a 60mph bypass road for a town to a 20mph residential street.
I had a similar thing happen to me when I moved countries, my new school was 2 years behind the one I’d left so I went 2 years without having to study. When they caught up in the curriculum I’d forgotten how to study and my grades plummeted because of it. Even now I struggle to learn new stuff.

Cameras I’m ok with, facial recognition and all that other bullshit I’m not ok with though. Camera feeds are good for piecing together accidents and stuff like that but companies shouldn’t be able to track down all of your personal information just because you walked into their shop with facial recognition scanners at the door.

Usually they are because they need to have their transponders on for this exact reason. They usually turn them off when they’re entering no fly zones / going on missions. During the build up to Iran firing missiles on US airbases in Qatar you could watch a lot of German and British military planes fly close to the border, turn off their transponders, then reappear a while later on the other side of the no fly zone.
It’s kinda funny that it was so hard for an F1 driver to beat the record but at the same time it feels kinda cheaty that he was a able to modify the cart to do it. I’m sure anyone could break the record if they could modify a cart by sticking a v10 in it.
