It is not controversial in any way to state that there was collaboration and co-ordination between the PMF and the US military as both were engaged with ISIS on the same battlefield. I’m not even being critical of the PMF for doing this as they were literally fighting ISIS to protect their country, but there is obviously going to be some level of co-ordination between on-the-ground forces and air forces in any kind of campaign, to make sure that the air forces don’t bomb friendly troops. Can you shut up with this tiresome shit?

They gently reversed some of that guidance yesterday (before the major strikes we’ve seen since). Not clear whether it will stay reversed given that Iran is now carrying out some of the most successful salvos yet. There will be significant economic disruption due to the Haifa port refinery being knocked out for at least a month, the two gas platforms that are shut down, the disturbance to work and the exhaustion caused by repeatedly having to rush to shelters. This is all manageable in the short term but how long will it go on?
