Holy heck, you make an excellent point. This kind of activity should have conspiracy theorists working overtime. I haven’t heard of any bubbling to the surface. No “Q-anon”-type theory about why this is all happening the way it is.

Is that because most conspiracy theorists have been undercover disinformationists? Is that because most conspiracy theorists are actually in support of the values the coup is taking on (eugenics, authoritarianism, etc.)? Is it only because the left is saying what’s actually happening behind the scenes and no one came come up with any explanation crazier than that?

I am so sick of the persistent invention of bad ideas they’re trying to make real. It’s like they think of they can say whatever they want often enough and enough people will hear it, then suddenly it’s a real fact.
