Yeah even in the city in PQ here, and working with young folks from many origins, english is quite prevalent. It’s not like french Quebec has a separate culture from the rest of North America, basically the only difference is the language spoken and remnants of the Code Civil.

The current PM will be on his way out next election most likely, I really don’t know what the future will hold. PQ will most probably renew that clause, Libéral would most likely not renew it.

Now they’re talking about removing the right to pray in public, for that one time where Muslims did it. But now their catho-laic friends are not in board with that, the CAQ is just flailing around trying to pivot the attention to something else stocking the fire of racism.

They used it over here to ban Muslim women to wear their hijab in public professions. They aim to do it too to preschool educators, while there is a crisis of places in nurseries and childcare places.

I had a semi similar experience when I got a severe thrombosis (and a little bit of clots in my lungs, yay) where I had the same name of a schizophrenic person in crisis who had surgery at the same place two days earlier and who ran away from the hospital before finishing healing.

I had to repeat a lot of time to the ER that I had not receive a surgery in the past days and we both got confused until they checked birth dates.

But your experience must have been very frightful, I’m relieved for the outcome. And I hope this other guy gets better.

Another round of anti-china articles in the French version of CBC which claims that a Quebec YouTuber is being victim to a China’s humiliation tactics by having fake nudes of herself produced. Gaétan Pouliot, the journalist, “has collaborated on investigations with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ)”. Which I did have an easy lookup to that organization which is funded by NED, and many other bourgeois occidental class.

His other article in april was again blatantly a pale paste of information gained from that same organization, which is a shame because his previous work on scientology was quite good.

Yeah! Especially when it’s paper money, or a lip balm which is more often the case in my situation, then I add it to me ever growing collection of them.

I love the second too! It’s also had family hardship to go through, a bit less developed on that though than the first one so far in my playthrough.

I know my parents used to do that when I was trick or treating, but we were in a rural area, and the evenings were quite cold! So we were rushing back into the car to get back to a heated place.

But then we would get to the village and they’d still do it. But not every house was decorated too.

But otherwise my night was great, I was working all evening for a party organized by the youth I work with and even though there were less people than last year, it sure was nice and cozy, I got to drive some of them home after the event - and feels like I’m doing something good for them.
