If Newsom does not invoke* the 10th amendment, claim government overreach, and get Congress involved within the next 48 hours, effectively that is the final nail in the coffin for authoritarianism to be fully in place here. California is the cornerstone for state level push back and resistance and this is the precursor with that EO to an occupation of that state. No other states are going to stand up to this government the way Cali could. This is the final marker for whether we collapse fully into fascism or not, and so far Newsom is letting it happen.
