Ja eben. Als ich das letzte Mal Instagram installiert habe, wurden mir nur tanzende Frauen mit großen Brüsten und Katzen angezeigt, unterlegt von nerviger Scheißmusik. Andere Inhalte gab’s wohl nicht, da hatte sich der Algorithmus voll drauf eingeschiossen.

Wenn ich sowas monatelang konsumiere, sterben mir sicherlich aufgrund akuter Unterforderung die Hirnzellen weg.

Genau so konnte man früher geistig verrotten, indem man ausschließlich RTL-Dokus, Asi-Talkshows und Sozialpornos im TV geschaut hat.

Das Medium ist nicht das Problem, sondern der Inhalt, den man mit Hilfe des Mediums konsumiert.

Über die Viertagewoche redet niemand mehr

Zum Glück wird die Migrationspolitik weiter dafür sorgen, dass es in vielen Branchen nicht genug Fachkräfte gibt und Arbeitgeber entweder jemanden für 4 Tage einstellen müssen oder ganz leer ausgehen.

Da kann Kretschmann so viel über eine “Krise” jammern, wie er will. Zur 40h-Woche gezwungen zu werden, dürfte wohl unmöglich sein.

The reason why I never went to any concert in my life was a mixture of having too much social anxiety and not enough money. Tackled both of these problems, but it took me a while.

Das erinnert mich daran, als meine Oma ins Altenheim gekommen ist. Sie hatte einen riesigen Röhrenfernseher. Ich hab den gemeinsam mit meinem Vater zwei Treppen runtergewuchtet, er hat gerade so ins Auto gepasst und wir mussten sehr vorsichtig bremsen, damit das Ding beim Kippeln nicht die Rückscheibe rausschlägt.

Ins Altenheim gebracht, unter Rückenschmerzen und massiven Schweißausbrüchen auf einem kleinen Schrank abgestellt, alle glücklich…und das verdammte Ding fällt runter.
Nie wieder Röhrenfernseher.

Edit: Wir hatten noch versucht ihn zu reparieren, aber die schwere Röhre hatte tatsächlich die Hauptplatine durch schiere Masse in zwei Teile geteilt. 🫠

Ich wohne direkt neben einer Kirche und der Schall ist kaum hörbar. Ich vermute, weil der direkt über meine Bude hinwegzieht und alle anderen in der Innenstadt belästigt. War so nicht geplant beim Umzug, aber hat mich dennoch sehr gefreut.

Same here, it was unbelievably shallow. Everything I liked it just mimiced, without even trying to do a simulation of a real conversation. “Oh you like cucumbers? Me too! I also like electronic music, of course. Do you want some nudes?”

Even when I’m at my loneliest, I still prefer to be lonely than have a “conversation” with something like this. I really don’t understand how some people can have relationships with an AI.

I’d say its mostly convenience. Discord is easier to use on mobile devices and provides voice chat.
