I am as well (edit: i agree that is one of the benefits of polyam as a relationship structure) , I think I can come back to my new “former” partner as an improved person thanks to having the good sense to see how valuable of a person there were/are to me and try to gracefully bow out for a while to really focus on growing into the kind of partner they and my nesting partner deserve.
