I didn’t realize how small screechies are! Or maybe that’s just a giant squirrel. 🤔

When I was a kid, we had a budgie that needed his beak trimmed every so often. The vet would use a dremel.

The main picture reminds me of how they would deal with one of my cats at the vet sometimes. Except the towel would definitely be covering his head. He really didn’t want to be there and would sometimes try to bite them.

I never thought I would say this, but I agree with Ted Cruz. It just seems crazy to shoot a bunch of owls to possibly save some other owls.

Thanks for the link. Not the highest number of cases in my county, but up there. I think most of the cases are from when a bat gets in someone’s home. I hear about it occasionally in the local news.

I was concerned that you got bit or something when I read you were getting a shot. I have had an irrational (rational?) fear of rabies since I saw Old Yeller as a child. I went through your post history 😅 to see it’s just preventative so you can work with rabies vectors. Stay safe!
