A former coworker on night shift was a manager at MacDonald’s, she claimed that putting the grape jelly on a sausage biscuit was amazing.

I stop by McDonald’s on my way home and try it. Once I finished the sausage biscuit with grape jelly I conclude that she was high when she came up with that because it was awful.

The following night she asks if I tried it and I tell her I did and thought it was awful, she replied “eh, I guess you’ve got to be stoned to enjoy it”.

I cut the cord years ago and never bothered to replace it with a OTA cable replacement since I cut the cord because I wasn’t watching the content, so I don’t have C-SPAN.

That being said I do keep up with politics outside of the daily show, and I remember when the Vichy Dems had the house, the senate, and the white house in 2020 and they still failed to make meaningful changes. Sure they passed a few spending bills to fund the economy… sorry I mean support the American people, but they could have put in stop gaps after what they saw from the first trump regime.

So what they do? They followed Schumer’s lead and bent over backwards to try and accommodate the republicans who once they got what they wanted would move the goal post and delay everything even longer.

And yes I’m calling them the Vichy Dems, they have capitulated to fascism. The fact that the January 6th commission was slow rolled, and Merrick Garland wasn’t hauled in for questioning every week until something meaningful was done about the attempted insurrection, means the Dems are just as responsible for the meds we’re in now as the republicans. Dems had the power and Chucky pushed to not use it, and now we’re all paying the price.

I’m sure Chuck Schumer will have a strongly worded letter for this. Wait what am I thinking, Obama is on their side, they’ll completely destroy him for this.

I felt like Truth didn’t fully fit, I admit I just glanced at the wiki to remind myself of the various ministries. Here’s why I chose Love for the DOJ:

A show can have a fine cast and still not be good. I just personally didn’t like that season, it’s fine if others did, I just wanted to break out some Dr. Cox.

Right there with you, after what they did with the season that doesn’t exist (season 9, I refuse to acknowledge it) I don’t trust them with this property. The whole appeal of the show was JD and Turk’s growth, and of course the Cox rants. Also what’s the point without Ted.

Yep, last paragraph “if elections are allowed”

I do not have high hopes of that happening.

While I hate what’s happening to (gestures broadly) there is a bright side, dark as it may be to look at it this way.

Most of the people currently being targeted tend to vote Republican, so there will be less of those people to vote, and the ones still in the country come election day have a higher chance of not voting or flipping against the Republicans.

Also more and more non-minority maga are saying “I didn’t vote for this” and getting hurt by these policies. If just a small portion of those gets out from under the brainwashing and either doesn’t vote or votes 3rd party instead that could also cost Republicans races.

Margins were tight in a fair amount of races last cycle, house, senate, and president. If elections are allowed and there’s no tampering with votes, the Republicans stand a good chance of losing the house in 26 and the white house in 28. There’s also state governments to look at but I don’t want to write a small novel in the comments.
