Literally, I’ve had this happen on Fandom.com where I try to copy/save an image from a direct link that ends in “.png”, but realize it was a fake PNG when I try to upload it. It’s so annoying, IDK what the deal with all of these new image types is.

Love how it says “your bowl of rice” not “the modern farming industry”. Gotta blame the individual people, not the companies! (sarcasm)

summoner@piefed.blahaj.zoneto Transmasc@lemmy.blahaj.zone•R/trans is a fucking messEnglish5·1 month agoIsn’t that just “trans women have male privilege” with a coat of paint? I’ve been in plenty of trans spaces that are dominated by transmascs; I think it’s more because Reddit has historically attracted a lot of men, so those who transition end up on trans subreddit. It’s not wise to make assumptions about what every queer community is like, especially when it comes to saying trans women have an advantage. For example, back in the day on Tumblr, Tumblr attracted a lot of women, particularly in fandom/fanfic communities (ex. the classic “i really like m/m slashfic, almost like i relate to it or something”), so the community was often dominated by people who weren’t transfem, and this led to serious problems with transmisogyny at times.
V funny to me that this works with the “estrogen” meaning of blue pill, but you can also interpret it as the “incel” meaning of “redpill”. Transitioning frees you, i.e. taking the estradiol pill, which acts as “the red pill”. But people who are “redpilled” are actually just playing into society’s standards instead of breaking free from them, hence “taking the blue pill”.
