This is why it should be even easier for consumers to return games. Playing a game and deciding it’s not for you is one thing. Playing a game and realizing you just flushed $70 down the toilet is infuriating.
Let’s turn, “I deserve to get my money’s worth” into “I deserve to get my money back.”

5·2 days agoThere have been entertainment execs who championed the notion that the common viewer is smarter than they’re given credit for, and that deep down they want to be challenged. (I don’t have the sources in front of me, but think of Norman Lear and Jim Brooks, and so on.)
The LCD is certainly a concern, but I really think today’s entertainment industry has become too spineless, too cynical, and too dismissive of their customers’ intelligence.

3·2 days agoPeople are on high alert for “ideological content” sneaking into their entertainment. Especially Conservative Americans. They slept on the increasing representation of minority groups in fiction, and then all of a sudden, WHAM – a Black president. BAM – gay marriage! Now they’re so paranoid they won’t believe you when you tell them there’s a rainbow in the Bible.






















Some how Oblivion was worse on its face, but at least more exploitable.
