AI is fundamentally an unethically sourced technology at an unprecedented global and historical scale. With no enforcement, its barely a mild inconvenience for those profiting from the worlds artist, writers, musicians, programmers and academics. These factions of humanity will never recover as AI pollutes these watersheds of creativity from now on. It’s not even a consideration for the public using this technology, who can’t imagine what having your life’s work scanned, analyzed, and re-output for profit by the masters of greed from silicon valley feels like. TLDR: enshittifed culture go brrrrr

Remind me the next time you a) want to slap someone and b) decide another method (the non-violent one) would suit better. Non-violence is how good folk function day to day with every frustrating experience, and why life now is much less like that portrayed in westerns, where there just isn’t room enough for “both of us” in this town. Individually and collectively people choose non-violence all around you. Have you lost the forest for the trees?

Its not reasonable by any stretch. It is coming from a place of intense selfishness: “These pointless creatures are in my way.” vs “Lets lift these fellow humans who have fallen by the wayside.”
