Updated coronavirus vaccines may not be available until mid-September, and people who are not considered high risk may not be able to access them.

They are very hard to get now. My wife and I had to fight the doctors to let her get one while pregnant so our baby would be protected somewhat. They all agreed we should do it but wanted to pass the responsibility of providing a prescription off to another doctor so no one would. We finally got a doc that would sign so she could get it.

It’s freaking bad here in the US.

They turned on the public quick too. 2 weeks after RFK (or whoever) publicly said people under 65 shouldn’t be getting the vaccines anymore, and I tried to get a booster and Costco pharmacy staff was giving me the same line, worded exactly as the administration did. 14 days is all it took. I was finally able to get it after argueinf with them a bit, and the fact that I’m type 1 diabetic, and they relented. Apparently the insurance companies stopped supporting it when the administration did, immediately.

A prescription? You don’t need a prescription for a vaccination, you go to a pharmacy and get it.

Not once RFK started putting out his bullshit limiting it’s availability you don’t. In a sane country you are correct. We are no longer a sane country.
